Leading data-driven and scalable learning that makes a difference

Effective Strategy for Training and Professional Development

My Story

I have 15 years of experience listening and leading, creating consensus, and solving problems with proven results: among other industry accolades, I have received nine Brandon Hall awards for blended learning, custom content, and learning management technology for external training.

As an industry thought leader, I have disseminated my work through publications, presentations, blogs, and podcasts.

My Approach

I currently lead a team of eight—a team that I built from the ground up. Starting as an individual contributor, I developed relationships across and beyond my organization to grow the portfolio of projects that we support, champion the learning technology infrastructure that would provide the data necessary to support the most effective learning strategies, and establish a collaborative culture amongst instructional designers and developers that supports cross-training and teamwork. My ability to influence movement demonstrates my commitment to problem-solving and my ability to listen and speak to the needs and concerns of the people I serve and work alongside.

I care deeply about equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging; I’m grateful to have the opportunity to engage in work that aligns with my values. I co-founded an internship program for North Carolina students of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), I actively engage in workplace caucuses as an ally, and I support projects that focus on creating solutions that work for everyone.
